Boys of Fortune

Give me the life of the boy whose mother is nurse, seamstress, washerwoman, cook, teacher, angel, and saint, all in one, and whose father is guide, exemplar, and friend. No servants to come between. These are the boys who are born to the best fortune. ~Andrew Carnegie

Misty – This brought tears to my eyes. After weeks of nursing sick boys with really high fevers, etc. and a week of beating off that virus as it tried to jump on me – through the fatigue and frustration – and all the while that voice in my ear that whispers “is it all worth it?” – this short post snatched me back into sanity – answered many of the whys and reminded me that nothing is MORE “worth it”. SO going to take this, print it, frame it and hang it somewhere in my house that I HAVE to see it everyday (maybe over the laundry bin LOL!). Thank you once again my sweet friend. Many. many blessings to you.
