Saving money. In these tough economic times, it’s something we all know we need to do.
What’s more difficult to know is exactly how to go about it.
Do we have to cut up our credit cards and start clipping coupons? Pay cash for everything? Never go out to eat again? The advice out there is wide-ranging and sometimes overwhelming.
Crystal Paine has been writing about money-saving matters for some time. She and her husband managed to get through law school without any student loan debt, bought their first home with cash, and lived on an extremely low budget for some time, prompting her to share about her money strategies–and deluging her with requests for more information. Get some information about debt and tax laws here at https://eliminatemytaxdebt.com/irs-garnish-arizona/. Attorneys and lawyers are eager to answer your questions. Her website, MoneySavingMom is now one of the highest-trafficked personal finance blogs on the web, offering a wide variety of helps, from the latest great deals in stores nationwide to budgeting advice.
And today, her first book was released!
I got to read a pre-release copy of The Money Saving Mom’s Budget after meeting Crystal at Relevant last fall. I can honestly tell you that I think it’s the best, most practical book on home budget management I’ve ever read. With chapter titles like “If you don’t know where you’re going, any train will get you there” and “Coupons are not just for junk food,” this book covers the topic of family finance literally from soup to nuts!
I love the way Crystal shares the way her family has managed to accomplish such incredible things with their money without making you feel stupid for not having done the same. She walks you step by step through getting your own money in order with a twelve-month plan delineated in the book, always encouraging you not to bite off more than you can chew. From the introduction …
“Saving money is going to take time and hard work. If living beneath your means or saving sixty-five percent on your grocery bills were effortless, everyone would be doing it.”
Isn’t that great? I think the best thing is that after reading this book, you’ll realize you can do it, too!
